Cover of "Waterloo," written by Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Stikkan Anderson (lyricist). Released as a single on 04 March 1973 by ABBA from their album, "Waterloo." Producers were Benny and Bjorn. The song represented Sweden at the 19th Eurovision Song Contest and won that year. It topped the charts in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and West Germany. It reached the Top 10 in the US. In 2005 it was chosen as the best song in Eurovision history. When re-released in 2004, it reached #20 in the UK charts. It was certified Gold in Denmark, Spain and Yugoslavia, 2 x Platinum in New Zealand, Platinum and Silver in the UK. My cover recorded 24 September 2026.
